Department of Textile and Clothes Design
The USC Department of Textile and Clothes Design began its activities in 1994. The students were admitted in textile and clothes design and chose their subdiscipline a year later.
Since 1995, they have the opportunity to choose their subdiscipline upon admission.
They are expected to take 104 specialized credits, 10 elective credits and 20 general credits.
The majority of specialized courses are practical and workshop-based.
The graduates of textile design are qualified to offer creative designs in different areas such as women’s textile design, men’s textile design, children’s textile design, interior design (curtain, upholster, counterpane) and so on.
The graduates of clothes design would have the opportunity to offer creative designs in different areas such as women’s clothes design, men’s clothes design, children’s clothes design, uniform design and so on. They can also design costumes for cinema and theatre.
